NAIDOC Week at Condobolin Public School

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations culture and history. Many schools engage in NAIDOC Week and students at Condobolin Public School came up with a way to help their wider community join with them.

The 2023 NAIDOC theme was “For Our Elders.” Because of this theme, students from Condoblin Public School decided to entertain the residents at RSL Lifecare Nursing Home, near their school.

Students performed ‘We Are One ‘- featuring the Wiradjuri chorus, as well as a crowd favourite – ‘You Are My Sunshine’.
