Students from the ‘Green Team’ at Loreto Normanhurst recently organised and ran a ‘succulent workshop’ for their peers to learn and enjoy.
Succulents are plants with parts that are thickened and fleshy so that they retain water, ideal for water-saving situations. As pictured below, the Green Team were able to use recycled items such as milk bottles as part of the workshop.
The students organised for special guests, Graham and Sandra Ross, to share some tips and insights. Graham and Sandra are both horticulturists and garden media presenters and writers.
