Tour de Cure Fundraiser at Mimosa Public School

In May this year, students from Mimosa Public School hosted 71 visiting Tour de Cure Cyclists as they rode through their town on their leg between Port Stephens to Sydney’s Barangaroo.

Mimosa Public School has had a strong focus on wellbeing this year. The Tour de Cure is an initiative started by cyclists who hold events, fundraisers, and travel around sharing their mission about tackling cancer through research funding and prevention campaigns.

The students organized a fundraiser to contribute to this great mission. Tour de Cure riders shared the importance of physical activity, an active lifestyle, and healthy personal choices in a “Be Fit – Be Healthy – Be Happy” message. Students from Mimosa Public described great enjoyment from this unique experience.
