Guinness World Record Broken by St Stephen’s School

St Stephen’s School in Perth broke the Guinness world record for most people simultaneously launching a confetti cannon.

Principal Donella Beare said that they “were looking for a unique way to celebrate our 40^th anniversary, something that our students would remember for the rest of their lives”. With more then 2000 students gathering on the school oval shaped as the number 40 that is exactly what they set out to do.

On the countdown red, white, and blue confetti exploded into air breaking history and setting a new Guinness world record with an astonishing 2013 confetti cannons set off. This record goes far beyond the previous record of 1116 set in 2022 in Florida.
