San Clemente High School students used a traditional dance performance and collaborative artwork as two creative methods to invite their peers to learn about and celebrate NAIDOC Week 2020.
“Some of the students took part in the dance because they were more comfortable with doing that, while others didn’t feel like getting up in front of people, so they might have been involved in some artwork.” Said teacher Bryan Rowe.
The school used the 2020 Naidoc Week theme of Always Was, Always Will be as “a good conversation starter”.
