Students around the world have gotten on board with the International Week of the Deaf and International Sign Languages Day by learning how to sign a sentence to raise awareness.
Students who are deaf or hard of hearing across Queensland from different schools came together in one video to set the example on how to sign “AUSLAN is for everyone”.
The message from students, advocates and charities is that everyone should learn some sign language to make society more inclusive for those who rely on it for communication.
