Padthaway’s Crazy Fundraiser

Students from Padthaway Primary School ditched their normal school uniforms and went”crazy”, with a recent ‘Crazy Day’ fundraiser.

Along with having crazy hair, many of the students matched their hairstyles even crazier clothes.

The school’s SRC members cooked a barbecue lunch and served ‘spider’ drinks on the day. They also made delicious biscuits and decorated them with crazy toppings. Each term, the SRC host a ‘tuck day’ to raise money for different causes.

Padthaway Primary School principal Olivia English was very complimentary of the Student Representative Council.

“The Student Representative Council is very important at Padthaway Primary School. The students use this as a tool for discussing their thoughts and concerns in an open forum,” Mrs English said.

“The SRC members were very organised on Crazy Day serving 65 students and all the staff,” Mrs English said.

“I am so impressed by the leadership shown by all of our SRC members and the guidance the upper primary executive committee showed to our younger SRC members.”
