15 year old Ethan Blood has learnt all kinds of skills through his Boy Scout program including cooking, camping and life-saving techniques. When it comes to his Eagle Scout project, Ethan has taken on the mammoth goal of building a trail that will better connect a local school to the nearby town.
Previous options have been a long drive or else scaling a cliff so providing a safe walking trail is a valuable addition to the community. Ethan approached local companies and received donations of tools, labour and materials.
Ethan’s Dad said that his project, “required a lot of work and planning and organization on his part to make it happen and come together, and it’s something that’s going to last decades.”
