Easter Event Encourages Creativity

Students at Laurieton Public School used their creativity to celebrate Easter, with a special ‘Hat Parade held on Friday April 12.

The event involved a parade, with lots of music and excitement, as well as an awards assembly to recognise the most impressive hats. Students each made their own hat, many of them working on them for weeks.

Hats involved bunnies, chocolates, messages, and lots of colour. It certainly was a ‘bright’ day both visually, and in regards to school spirit.
