Yellow Slushies and Yellow Daffodils
On August 31st Rockhampton Girls Grammar School went yellow. This coincided with Daffodil Day to support Cancer Council Australia.
Funds for life-saving cancer research were raised by selling daffodils and yellow slushie drinks.
The school prefects handed out hundreds of daffodils (as pictured). A spokesperson said “We must say our grounds and classrooms looked absolutely gorgeous with all of that extra colour!”
