World Mental Health Week at Burdekin
World Mental Health Week kicked off today, and Burdekin Catholic High School turned BLUE! The school is just one of the many schools in their area who have each chosen an item in their school grounds to paint blue.
The blue object is a reminder that ‘It’s OK to Have a Blue Day’ and to draw awareness to mental health and wellbeing. The project has been organised by the various schools in partnership with the Burdekin Shire Youth Council.
In addition to the unveling of the blue tree, students were able to enjoy blue donuts, as pictured below.
