Lakelands Primary School students created a mural using e-waste to add a splash of colour to the school. If you look closely at the photo, you will spot the painted CD’s.
The timing of the mural was designed to match up with National Reycling Week, which took place from the 8th to 14th of November 2021. The week was established by Planet Ark, and this year celebrates 25 years.
Each class painted CDs in their own distinct colour before the final artwork was pieced together to look like a grove of trees with rustling leaves and blooms swirling in the wind.
