Ivanhoe: The Little School with the Big Garden

Ivanhoe Central School is a small school in regional NSW. Whilst it only has 25 students from K-12, staff and students have worked together to set up an incredible farm that benefits the whole school community.

Students are key to the success of the garden. The garden beds were designed and built by students and vegetables are fertilised via an aquaponics system.

The frest produce is then sold to the local community at the front of the school. See the photo below of the great vegetable stall.
