This world-class arena production is the greatest student-performed showcase on the planet, with a Guinness World Record for the “Largest Amateur Variety Act”. Students from rural and remote school communities stepped up to take part, driving up to 12 hours to perform and rehearse. In a massive collaborative effort, the remarkable showcase included: 2,500 voice-choir, 2,400 dancers, an 80-piece symphony orchestra, a stage band, a rock band, a 100-student production team, and 600 teachers and support staff! The show was themed “All-4-One” promoting inclusivity and reconciliation in this iconic cultural event involving students from diverse communities.
Student performers range from 5 years old up to 18 years old. This event is made possible by the hours of tireless work from student performers to audition, rehearse, and perform to the highest calibre. The shows were performed live on the 29th and 30th November in Qudos Bank Arena and will be broadcasted on Channel 7 for all to watch on the 14th of December at 7pm! What a showcase of the incredible skills and leadership of students from across NSW!
