This November, 5 generations of students, current and graduated, gathered to celebrate the 150-year anniversary of the school. This student lead event, saw over 1,000 members from the school and greater community commemorate this significant milestone together. A special moment was shared between a 1935 graduate and a current Prep student as they had the honours of cutting the cake!
Looking back, student and teachers dug up and opened a half century year old time capsule with fascinating artefacts from the school’s history! Looking forward, students and teachers have prepared a time capsule for 25 years from now to be unearthed by the next generation!
Through this event, student leaders not only demonstrated pride in their school, but were able to connect with the wider community from across all ages. Congratulations Redbank Plains State School! This was a special and significant event!
