Alice Springs School of the Air Gets ‘Unusual’ for Book Week

Alice Springs School of the Air students celebrated Children’s Book Week by thinking of and photographing themselves reading in “unusual places”.

Often the event is celebrated with a ‘Book Week Parade’ which involves students dressing up in a book character of their choosing, however, these students are spread across a wide area in the southern half of the Northern Territory and the extreme north of South Australia.

Their location led to some highly creative pictures including trampolining, desert reading and storytime with young farm animals.
