St Columba’s Students Walk for Mental Health

Students at St Columba’s Catholic College formed a team to particpate in ‘One Foot Forward’. This project is an initiative of  the Black Dog Institute, who are focused on helping the 1 in 5 people who experience mental illness each year.

One Foot Forward involves walking for awareness, and fundraising for research.  Pictured are some of the many students who walked alongside the school driveway during a recent lunchtime.

Students also raised funds to donate by selling ice blocks and drinks, pictured below. The SCCC team has currently raised an amazing $1777 for Black Dog Institute. If you would like to donate you can find the team here: https://www.onefootforward.org.au/fundraisers/stcolumbascatholiccollege
