Windaroo Valley State High School Year 12 student Alyssa was one of six students to win a national competition to design a reusable bag for Coles.
The campaign is in support of the supermarket getting rid of single-use plastic bags in favour of the reusable bags. The bags are also made out of environmentally friendly materials.
Alyssa’s design includes a portrait of a koala eating eucalyptus leaves and went on sale nationwide on Tuesday 15 September, 2020.
