Carlton Public School Shines with Sunflower Seeds

Students from Carlton Public School in NSW found a way to shine brightly in the community during recent restrictions. Students from the school’s gardening club put up a string filled with little packets of sunflower seeds on their school fence for their community to take home and plant.

Printed on the front of each packet of seeds was the heading “Shine Like a Sunflower” as well as the message “This packet contains 10 seeds of joy. A little gift for you to sow. A beautiful flower to watch it grow.”
