Manning Gorge Celebrates NAIDOC Week

NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life.

Wananami Remote Community School put on an amazing performance of junba (traditional dancing) at Manning Gorge for their NAIDOC Week Family Day.

Students proudly shared their culture with tourists staying at Manning campground with lots of activities taking place on Ngarinyin Country.
