Great Southern Grammar Students Lend a Helping Hand

The photos make it look like students at Great Southern Grammar, in Albany WA, are improving their school gardens. Actually, they are volunteering at the Gilcreek Scout Camp.

Over the course of 2021, Yr 7 students have ventured off campus to the Scout Camp to lay mulch, clear fallen branches and generally helping in any way they can. Despite the fact that it’s not their own school grounds, the students lend a hand with a laugh and a smile.

Making this project possible has been local business ‘Barretts Tree Services’ who have donated huge amounts of garden mulch.
