‘Colour for a Cause’ at Safety Bay High School

At Safety Bay Senior High School, the Student Leadership Team choose a difference charity to support each semester. Currently, they are supporting JDRF who are leading the fight against type 1 diabetes.

This week the student leaders organised ‘Colour for a Cause’. The day involved colourful clothes and colourful cupcakes and raised $466 in donations to JDRF.

Some students also had the opportunity to hear from two incredible local wheelchair basketball stars and even got to play a few rounds themselves (pictured below).
