Kings Meadows High School Students Donate Life

Kings Meadows High School students held a “Donate Life Day” to raise awareness of the importance of organ and tissue donation. Students were encouraged to wear “a touch of purple or pink” on the day and invited to donate to the cause.

The event was started by a Grade 10 student who wanted more people to understand the importance of organ donation after she had needed a liver transplant when she was a child.

The students organised the event based on resources and information from DonateLife Australia who’s brand colours inspired the student’s free-dress.
