Sunshine Coast Students Become Generation Innovation

Sunshine Coast school students have participated in the 2020 “Generation Innovation” challenge organised by the Sunshine Coast Council to design their own business.

“The ‘Generation Innovation’ workshops are helping them dream up business ideas, at a time when employment is hard to come by.” Federal Parliamentarian, Ted O’Brien, described this year’s event as “the most important” due to the fact that graduating students will face greater challenges entering the job market after the effects of Covid-19.

Businesses ranged from support services and products for children who are victims of domestic violence to unique fashion retailers for niche tastes.
