Victor R-7 Student Leaders Create Whole School Artwork Gift

Victor R-7 Student Representative Council (SRC) members have rallied students at their school to create an artwork to show gratitude to front-line responders at their local medical centre. The artwork is made up of multi-coloured love hearts each containing a written messages from a different student from the school.

“…[SRC reps] Jed and Anais helped to facilitate discussions and brainstormed ideas around acts of kindness with the other SRC reps, with the aim that all students would be able to participate, personalise and express their gratitude of the frontline workers,” teacher Jenna McLaren said. The students also purchased morning tea for the medical staff from a local business using funds from the school bottle recycling system.

“I felt happy that our school was able to do something to thank the medical staff for everything they had done for our local area over the last three months,” Anais said.
