Bourke High School Hip-Hop Group Plays National Television

Bourke High School students have delivered a message of “hope, struggle and unity” through an original song released with a music video. The students worked with Desert Pea Media, their school and Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation to create the music.

The songs are published by a group called B-Town Warriors made up of a number of the students (with even more involved in the music videos). The group’s first song ‘People of the Red Sunset’ was featured on Triple J Unearthed and MTV.

Their song ‘Thundercloud’ opens by dedicating to, “anyone who is struggling, keep your chin up, cuz, you’re not in this alone.” and recently featured on ABC program Q+A.
