With the extra time for watching streaming services and television, there could be leadership training that students could miss if not paying attention according to Edith Cowan University (ECU). They have released an article breaking down three different ways that leadership skills can be improved by watching Friends.

1. Know your type
The distinctive personalities on the show can teach young leaders multiple strategies around skill development, career choices and ability to relate to others.

2. Be consistent – but don’t be afraid to grow
With the show’s characters developing across all seasons but maintaining certain distinctive traits – ECU explains that the show outlines the importance of balancing consistency and change.

3. Accept your flaws
With so many hilarious moments of embarrassment on the show, one of the key messages is accepting when a leader may need to admit mistakes and shortfallings in certain areas.
