World Earth Day 2020

The 50th annual World Earth Day is taking place today on Wednesday 22 April, 2020. In-line with current global circumstances the event is taking place largely online with various initiatives to participate in.

The three key initiatives include a global digital surge, earth day live production and 24-hour activities that individuals can participate in.

The theme of the day this year is “Climate Action” with organisers saying, “The enormous challenges — but also the vast opportunities — of acting on climate change have distinguished the issue as the most pressing topic for the 50th anniversary.”
