Lauriston Girls’ School Students Donate to Eight Charities for Christmas

Lauriston Girls’ School has used their ‘G.I.V.E Back Day’ to donate Christmas gifts to eight different charities. 200 Year 7 & 8 students worked with not-for-profit organisation ‘Kids in Philanthropy’ to pull off the project.

Projects included stockings, bookmarks, handmade cards, sweet treats, dream catchers, sanitary packs and boxes of toiletries with each set of items being donated to a new charity.

The school described the day as one well spent and thanked the students for their, “incredible work ethic and enthusiasm.”
