SchoolAid Invites Student Leaders to Partner in Bushfire Aid

Registered charity organisation SchoolAid has launched a fire recovery appeal in light of the current bushfires throughout New South Wales and Queensland. The appeal invites student leaders to take action in finding donations to assist in recovery efforts for those areas affected.

SchoolAid CEO Sean Gordon said: “We want to provide an outlet for our young people to take positive and tangible action towards helping people and communities recover from these devastating events,” he said.

Australian Principals Association President Malcom Elliott spoke of the influence students leaders can have: “Primary school students are incredibly engaged in helping others and keen to make a difference.”
