Northern Beaches Secondary College student leaders on the Cromer Campus have collaborated with staff, local artists and businesses to cover their Creative Arts block in street art. The project was run by Year 10 Visual Arts students.
The students were involved in the mural from planning stages through to completion. Several smaller pieces were completed to gain an understanding of what the final product could involve.
A key collaboration was with artist Cam Wall who discussed the positive impacts that street art can have in school spaces and the wider community with the students. This drove the students to create what is designed to be an “immersive and inspiring” learning space.
