Student Leaders Across Warrnambool and Moyne Share Projects

Student leaders from multiple schools across Warrnambool and Moyne have presented their ideas as student leadership teams to family, friends and community members. 23 different primary and secondary schools were represented at the 6th Student Leaders Congress Night of Celebration.

Woodford Primary School Principal Daniel Watson said ideas this year were to revolve around ‘sustainability and wellbeing within schools’. He described that, “The students have taken ownership of their projects, and the teachers and principals have got out of the way and let them run the show.”

One example is East Warrnambool’s students who designed, produced and sold T-shirts that encouraged inclusiveness and donated all funds raised to “Find Your Voice” choir.
