Nude Food Monday

Smithtown Public School’s passion for growing healthy food and living life with energy and happiness has caught the attention of familes, friends and the local community.

From planting, caring for, eating and celebrating healthy food Smithtown’s school garden program has had a successful response form students, teachers and parents.

Nude Food Mondays is one of Smithtown’s newest initiatives, which has gained much support by families from the school. This initiative involves students harvesting food from the garden and fortnightly, sharing it with families, friends and community members who donate a gold coin to continue purchasing seedlings for more planting.

As well as this, students have begun to make their own beeswax wraps fore lunch boxes to help reduce waste through packaging.
