Student Movie Night Makes a Difference

East Launceston Primary School have raised $550 for an important local cause by hosting a movie night for their school community. Screening the family film ‘Sing’, was a fun and successful idea with over 220 students attending.

Credit for this high turnout goes to the students leaders who took on the responsibility of promoting the event each fortnight to a class at their school. Beyond this, the student leaders also helped to set up the hall ready for the event and assisted handing out refreshments.

The Winter Relief Appeal is a cause close to the heart of those in Launceston as money raised goes to four local charities.
