Students Send School Supplies to Timor

Decorated shoeboxes filled with school supplies and special gifts have been sent to Sao Miguel (St Michael’s) School near Dili, East Timor. The gifts come courtesy of students at Tewantin State School who played a significant role in assembling the boxes.

School principal, Rob Jennings, shared that students have thoroughly enjoyed the process and that their “student leaders have been actively involved with the project.”

The boxes have been filled with useful equipment such as pens, pencils, work books and rulers. Students also had the opportunity to personalise the box further popping in something special like a tennis ball or a teddy bear.
